Squad Selection: A structured event with the intent of selecting a squad of 6-12* eligible players who will be be subject to more focussed scrutiny and evaluation prior to an events’ team selection. The Team Manager and/or Team Captain will lead this event, with the structure of each event customised based on the number of attendees etc. Typically candidates for the squad will be matched against - and potentially paired up with existing squad members in order to evaluate their relative level.

Where capacity and funding allow, the National Pathway Coach will support this event, either with direct coaching support - or in a purely advisory capacity. [TBC]

Any player wishing to participate in the squad training events leading up to team selection will need to attend the squad selection session. Exceptions will be considered at the selection committees discretion.
