This page provide guidance for any players interested in representing South Wales County or Wales at padel County Championships and International tournaments.
Welsh padel is governed by Tennis Wales an arm of the LTA who run the GB team on behalf of all the home nations. Wales currently compete as a national side in the UK Padel 4 Nations event, and as an LTA County side in the Uk Padel County Championships. In each of these tournaments, we put forward ladies and mens teams in Open, o40, o50 and o60 categories.
Padel players wishing to represent South Wales or the Wales National team should spend some time understanding how teams are governed. This information can be found in our Governance pages, which set out the various responsibilities for key roles including Selection Committee, Team Captain, and Team Manager.
Please note: All players representing South Wales or Wales will need to agreed to and abide by the Player Charter.
Getting Involved
A framework has been put in place to:
support new players get involved with County and National teams
help existing squad players develop and successfully compete at County and National events
support squad and team selection processes
help captains and teams prepare for tournaments

Each team is currently developing a detailed schedule training events so that Welsh players have an opportunity to attend, which will be available below as soon as available. Events, Dates, Times and Locations will be updated - so check back regularly!
